For generations, New York City employees and retirees have relied on our current health care plan to support our families and ourselves. Last year, the City tried to force retirees onto terrible Medicare Advantage plans, but we fought them back.
Now the City is trying to gut the health plan for current employees AND retirees. If successful, we will lose access to the doctors and providers we know and trust and have to pay more out of pocket.
